In July/August of 2000, as a student on a missionary trip to India, Darrell Tucker met an Indian preacher, R. Sudhakar Rao, whom he grew to respect immensely. The two preachers became good friends while traveling and sharing the Gospel message, and upon departure for the United States, Darrell committed to Sudhakar to help him spread the love of Christ in India.

The two men have stayed in contact while pursuing interests in their individual homelands, and have gradually forged a team of dedicated preachers and teachers in the area surrounding Gallizurugulla - 27 traveling preachers serving 53 congregations of the Lords church - and all done on a “shoe-string budget.” We need partners to help us in this work. We need working partners to go and help and be a part of the physical efforts. We need prayer partners to daily keep our efforts and needs before the throne of God. And, we need financial partners; there are so many men who could better serve as full-time preachers in their villages, but cannot due to financial reasons. Fifty dollars a month can support a native preacher and his family while he works among his congregation and gives 100% for the Lord. In the US, we could never dream of supporting a preacher for the small amount it takes to help them in India.

Over the past six years, our team and our successes have been growing. 2005 saw more than double the number of souls brought to Jesus, and 2006 almost tripled the efforts of 2005! In 2007-2010 saw nearly 3000 souls, per year, won to Christ. 2011 will be AMAZING!

Ecc 4:12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

Luke 10:1  Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.

God is aware of our limitations and from the beginning He has consistently told us that going it alone is not good for us! Jesus sent out His disciples in pairs and teams that allowed them to do their work in a confident way, knowing that their coworkers were by their side and pulling their share of the load.

If you look at the ministries of Paul and others in the New Testament, you can see a pattern of teams that taught and preached and loved and discipled the lost into the body of Christ. Will you be a part of our team?
